The Only Child Can Thrive Without Siblings


Spoiled or selfish are often characteristics that are associated with the only child of the family. Loving the center of attention may also be considered a built-in "personality" trait, but it seems that we assume that these behavioral distinctions are natural. Well, once again it's necessary to question how these children are brought up because children do not simply grow up identical. Parents who do not control their own parental behavior are the ones responsible for instilling certain personality traits. Problematic parenting can magnify the negative effects when it concerns an only child. Don't overdo your parenting, especially with your only child. Find ways to encourage your child's social skills and you will find a way to break your child out of a cycle of distinguishing characteristics that you may have potentially caused.
