Preschool Helps Children Celebrate Diversity
Sending your child to preschool welcomes your child to a world where he or she first meets people of various cultures, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. By introducing all children with all other children, as in not isolating your child with a certain group, allows for children to grow up with a more diverse group of friends. At a young age, being loving and accepting of all abilities and peoples will transcend into a child's future behavior. While every child is unique, every child should learn to treat one another with equal respect and care. Preschool and kindergarten should be places to actively start such basic social skills with the help of parents and educators.
