Janet Stork is currently the Executive Director and Head of School at the Morriss Center School in Bridgehampton, New York. Ms. Stork was instrumental in building the Morris Center School’s high school program. Ms Stork is also the co-founder and Executive Director of the Village Project, an organization designed to enhance educational and cultural opportunities for children and families on the East End of Long Island.
Prior to joining the Morriss Center School, Ms. Stork was the Head of the Lower School at the prestigious Dalton School in New York City.
Ms. Stork has extensive classroom experience as well as impeccable administrative and training expertise.
A sought after speaker who has presented at numerous national and international conferences relating to teaching, design, and child development, Ms. Stork has also co-author on several scholarly articles about curriculum and teaching. She is a member of Board of Trustees at Cambridge School of Weston, Day & Boarding High School in Weston, MA. She has also written for children’s public television programs and served as a design consultant for schools.
In addition to outstanding professional credentials, Ms. Stork has BA in Child Study from Tufts, an MA in Education from Teachers College in New York and is a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Child Development at Tufts.
